Baptism

Baptism is where the Christian life begins. The Book of Common Prayer says, “the bond which God establishes in Baptism is indissoluble,” which means you can never do anything to negate or disqualify you from God's love and acceptance.

If you’ve been baptized, in any church, in the name of the Trinity, you do not need to get re-baptized.

Baptisms almost always happen on a Sunday morning, with the whole congregation gathered around to celebrate and affirm your new life in Christ. Baptisms are typically scheduled 4 times a year: in early January, the night before Easter Sunday, Pentecost (usually May or June), and in early November. Baptisms may happen at other times, in conversation with the Rector.

We baptize adults and children. To inquire about baptism, or to register yourself or someone else for baptism, please fill out the form below.
